INT. WEXFORD TOWN CENTRE PUB – DAY

A cozy, lively pub. Customers chat amiably, the atmosphere warm and inviting. The BARMAID, early 30s, cheerful and quick-witted, is serving drinks.

        BARMAID

        (cheerfully to the next customer)

                What’ll yer have, Hun?

The camera pans from the barmaid’s smiling face to reveal the next customer — a HUNNIC WARRIOR, towering and imposing, clad in battle gear, his face marked with the dust of long travels.

        HUNNIC WARRIOR

(gruffly, with a Northside Dublin accent)

                A pint of Yellowbelly Kellerbier.

He pauses, glancing back towards the entrance, and adds with a straight face:

        HUNNIC WARRIOR (CONT’D)

Oh, and a package of nuts for me horse.

The BARMAID nods, unfazed, as she turns to pour the beer.

                                                            CUT TO:

The barmaid places the Kellerbier, perfectly poured with a frothy head, in front of the warrior, along with a packet of nuts.

The horse’ll have to stay outside, though.

The warrior nods, lifting the pint to his lips. He takes a long, appreciative draft of the Yellowbelly Kellerbier. His expression softens, visibly impressed.

        HUNNIC WARRIOR

        (satisfied)

                                                        CUT TO:

The warrior, now seated at the bar, with some locals, including the YELLOWBELLY WARRIOR. They are watching a hurling match on the TV mounted on the wall. Wexford are beating Kilkenny.

        YELLOWBELLY WARRIOR

        (excited)

Go on, go for it … Ah one of yis, ye bad fools!

        VOICEOVER

        (cheerfully)

Yellowbelly Kellerbier. Brewed for warriors and Wexicans alike. Because some thirsts are timeless.

                                                        CUT TO:
